Do you want to be in films? Do you act? Do you sing? Can you write a script? Can you be a director? Wouldn't it be wonderful if all your dreams were somehow financed by either a movie studio or a hustling and bustling state like Florida? To be more specific; Central Florida. A state that is practically run on tourist dollars. Central Florida wanted to become HOLLYWOOD EAST. When I first relocated here there was big talk on how once the state receives certain funds, there would be t.v. shows and feature film production all taking place in the sunshine state. Actors with unherald talent would finally be employed full-time to display their talent and gifts for all the world to see. Oh, it was going to be a fine and wonderful time. What happened? How come Universal Studios or Walt Disney Studios didn't utilize their massive and well-equipped backlot studios for constant t.v. and film production? What happened to all the talk of a real working movie studio? What were going to happen to all those great acting thespians of Central Florida? Oh, no.......the horror of it all!
