FANS, FOLLOWERS, FOES
Nothing great comes from the masses. The great discoveries in science, archeology, arts, technology, etc., have usually been spearheaded by either one person or a 'select' group of individuals. The masses just makes one rich. That is all. So many people fall into the illusion that they must have fans and followers detailing their every move and in turn they must be famous or 'really' important and if any one questions them, then those people are haters or foes. This is the state our society has arrived to. Those followers are the masses and if you believe, accept and follow the hype of those 'followers' then you in turn have become a follower because this is a vicious cycle. The individuals who made breakthroughs in their respective fields were not caught-up in how many followers they had nor did they have much 'followers' at all because when a person decides to stand on their own thoughts, they become unpopular and strange to the masses or the followers. As technology expands and grows, the size of the masses will multiply. Is this good or bad? It depends - it depends if you solely base your worth on how many followers you have - OR - if you could care less how many followers you have and you'd rather be and do something else that will go beyond followers and fans. Nothing great comes from the masses.
