EXILE

I, James D. Watkins have so many ideas that I find myself creating, working and filing. 'FILING' meaning the concept/idea is put or tucked away until I know or feel confident I either have the artistic tools or financials -OR- both to bring that concept and idea to life. Case in point: EXILE. EXILE is the story of Lucifer getting dethroned from Heaven. That's the story and concept - The most daunting task is to what genre, medium or format I should use to bring EXILE to life. Is it a theatre piece? Is it an art-installation piece? Is it a video-installation piece? Would it be an audio drama? Is it an Art Gallery Visual piece? Do I use a diorama model set with miniature figures to tell this grand, epic and Cosmically, Universally unseen story? Should I combine genres and mediums at different rates and levels to tell this story? One thing I am certain of, - the musical setting will be from the likes of RICHARD WAGNER, JOHANNESS BRAHMS, WOLFGANG AMADEUS MOZART, JOHANN SEBASTAIN BACH & LUDWIG VAN BEETHOVEN. Whatever medium, format, genre or platform I decide to unveil EXILE in, it will most of all be unique, different and above all......creative. - JAMES D. WATKINS (famous painting of ICARUS is by Bernart Picart).
